This could be yours, for 7 grand
This mid engine LS4 swapped - 1996 Geo Metro can now be yours- '06 5.3L LS4 V8/dod deleted/truck intake/eBay electric water pump Cadillac 4t80e transaxle upgrade w/ E-Trans Control Inc. Manumatic controller ( full time push button up/down shifting) Integral tube chassis support/main roll hoop connected to rebuilt/reinforced front framework. Tested the main functions of the overall setup last summer- took it on a 75 mile (each way) trip to WI Dells on an 85+ degree day and had zero issues. Probably 500 miles of testing before parking it for winter... Starts getting excessive oversteer above 65mph- could be weight distribution related, could be aero, could be the caster angle... Could be any combination of them... Was going to sort it all out this spring-summer and redo the side scoops/wide body with stepside flares- but anticipate having little-to-no time to get to it. $7000.00 firm

That's got to be a solid, what 80/20 weight distribution? And he's only wondering why that might cause oversteer?

There’s a lot for sale on the internet – including millions of cars, trucks and SUVs. However, there is only one double-dually, twin-turbo, 1,400 HP Chevy Silverado with the front end of a Cadillac Escalade for sale. Have you ever seen something so beautifully distasteful it’s come all the way back around to being cool? Of course you haven’t. That is, until now.
Listed for sale by Gateway Classic Cars, this 2004 Chevrolet Silverado has everything you could need – in a Stefon on SNL’s Weekend Update kind of way. This ode to automotive insanity started life as a dedicated Bonneville car hauler for intake manufacture Spectre. At some point though, something went very wrong – or right depending on how you view life.
In a vehicle full of show-stopping focus points, that gasser V8 could be the biggest one. It started out as a 500 cubic-inch (8.2 liter) big block that was then punched out to 529 cubic inches (8.7 liters). That clearly wasn’t enough, so the builder then added a pair of Garrett turbochargers. That brought estimated power to a healthy 1,425 HP and 1,671 lb-ft of torque.
Power gets to the ground through a heavy duty Allison five-speed automatic transmission to a pair of rear axles – both of which are duallys. That – for those keeping score at home – makes a goddamn double dually. Getting those eight wheels to fit took some doing. It required a custom frame, elongated fender flares as well as expanding the wheel wells.

I can't look directly at it, yet I can't look away
"...something went very wrong – or right depending on how you view life..." sums it up perfectly.

I can smell the inside of that caruck from here.
I can really appreciate the "weld the door shut and then break off the handle and call it a day" approach.

Concept isn't bad, execution less well done.

I missed both of those.
Though, moving the OE glass to use as a rear glass makes some sense.

For over 14 years, a Florida Man™ has provided car enthusiasts an option for when literally anything else is just too normal. The Mike Vetter ETV is an “Extra Terrestrial Vehicle” that can be plopped down onto the drivetrains of a variety of cars. Another one of these has surfaced in the UK, and it’s certainly the weirdest Chevrolet Cobalt that money could buy.
The folks of Silodrome unearthed this creation. It was for sale through a Bonhams auction, but as of writing the auction appears to have been withdrawn. I’ve recovered it through the Wayback Machine just to stare at the thing. We’ve written about this car a number of times dating all of the way back to 2009. Yet, despite all of those years the thing is still striking.

NSX Diablo, anyone? Oh, did I forget to mention it was once owned by Jose Canseco?

It actually looks ok from the thumbnail picture

I'm always supportive of folks enjoying their money and their hobbies without judgement, but I personally do not get a project like this. An NSX would be a great car to own as-is. And the cost of that car plus restoration has to approach a Lambo price tag. I mean, I'm not sure who is looking for a "bargain" fake Lambo for the price of some very legit super cars.

I get that car now, especially since Jose Canseco used to own it. When he gets pulled over for having drugs and performancing enhancing substances in his body agter speeding, and the cop writes down that he was driving a Lambo, well, then his defense lawyer asks the judge to throw out the ticket because it actually was an NSX.
Brilliant!

I can't even imagine how i would do something like that to a car that costs half a mill...
Well... i can't imagine anyone would buy this for $5 mill either

I unfortunately wasn't able to get any pictures or video, but at work yesterday, I saw a Chevy Cruze (I believe that's what it was) sitting in the parking lot with the right turn signal flashing, and the wipers and headlights were both on. When the driver was ready to move, she went left (at least switched the signals) and kept the wipers and headlights on! It was only partly cloudy (plenty of sun) and there was no active precipitation. That's going to wear out the blades (not to mention be very loud)

OK ok, so don't laugh, or maybe go ahead. But if that TL were done right in an El Camino style, I'm not sure I'd hate it.
