For how well he did do, it seems he could have done better. Still, I would rather drive that than an Eclipse. 
Edit: I actually thought he was going for an Aventador. He did very well for the Reventon. Waste of money? Meh. Some people spend $8k on wheels and don't make there cars look that much better. He still gets second place.
