Oh...hah...thought you were on some tropical island someplace like Puerto Rico.

But, seriously? The Legacy GT does not sell in the US? WTF. Weird. Never knew that. Nevermind then!

I was going to post this in the car video thread...but, given our lust for wagons, thought Leno's V60 Polestar vid should go in here.

I do love what Volvo has done with the V60. That 295hp force-induction 4-cylinder is going to be a great addition to that car in place of the T-6.

I'd be happy with a regular V60 Sport.

The folks I've seen driving V60s (albeit three or four) were all my age (early 40s) ... I don't think Volvo is my grandfather's car company anymore.

Maybe that is because their wives forced them to buy Volvo because of its reputation.

Don't do it... you can do better! get a Corvette!!

I wouldn't put a bike rack on the back of a Vette. But I wouldn't buy a Vette. It's not my kind of car.

I'm a wagon guy. Yeah, I love the F-Type but I don't have $70K to spend on a car. So the wagon, for my bicycles and dogs, is my sweet spot.

Well, a perception to you perhaps. But, think about Cadillac...for a time, they were thought of as "old" too for me. And now? CTS-V? Holy momma.

I like what Volvo is doing.

Not to mention that they're CVT only unless you get a near base 4cyl. Then you only get the 5MT.

I totally forgot about the CVT

Definitely not an option.

Who here remembers the Volvo 1800 ES...?

Well, it fetched a few bucks recently at an auction. From here: http://www.leftlanenews.com/volvo-p1...#ixzz34XBVPHSM

A 1973 Volvo P1800ES Sport Wagon has sold for a record $92,400 by Bonhams Auctioneers at the Greenwich Concours d´Elegance in Connecticut.

The classic Volvo was kept in pristine condition by three owners, all located in Keene, New Hampshire. The first owner is said to have kept the car for 37 years.

The red paintwork is completely original, along with the black leather upholstery and other factory equipment.

Auctioneers had set a pre-sale estimate of $30,000 to $40,000. A bidding war between Volvo dealers was eventually outdone by an unnamed overseas bidder who paid more than double the top estimate.

"The car was nicely presented, well preserved and totally original," said Bonhams Auctioneers Motor Cars specialist Eric Minoff." It was key for a high price like this, a restorer would struggle to match the build quality of the factory in Gothenburg."

While the 1973 model set an auction record due to its lack of use, a slightly older 1966 Volvo P1800 was in the news last year for hitting three million miles on the odometer.

They're all over the place. But there are 2013s Premiums with < 10,000 miles for $35K. But those were probably $40K new.

The best deal I found on a Prem Plus was a Certified 2013 for $37K with 8K miles.

Cheapest Prestige was a Certified 2013 with 27K miles for $39K.

I'd rock that Tesla all day long. Just getting ready to dump $3800 into my 147K mile 530xiT. Brake lines, rear rotors/pads, new rear sensor, oil change, timing chain. I knew it was gonna hurt but the body is rock solid, I haven't had a car payment in 4 years and I love my car.

Because Allroad

I was in disbelief when I saw 4 Allroads at that dealership.

^ Disbelief at how hot it looks or that there are 4...? Wagons aren't big-sellers in NA.

This is one of the major reasons I'd go with the Allroad. Not the best picture but with normal springs and some aggressive wheels, it's a totally different car:

FuchsB's car from Audizine:

Those color matched fender flares make all the difference too.

This one is also nicely done too, IMO. I do prefer the wheels on FuchsB's car though.
