after seeing these latest fords, i'm REALLY looking forward to seeing what they do with the fusion.

i'm that they'll make a wagon version to look like the mondeo's.

Americans are so anti-wagon it's absurd. However, the next Fusion will be a Mondeo called the Fusion here so there's some hope.

I figure the C-Max and Kuga/Escape will likely be sold in place of the Mondeo Estate

So either way its a question of opinion.

is this confirmed?

i thought it was just speculation or something that was assumed since it makes too much sense.

if it's true.

<--- really liking the direction ford is going with the NA models.

At the present time that is true, but the B7 was available in quattro configuration for both their 3.2 and 2.0T.

You are correct. Here in Japan, the LGT can still be had with a 6MT and sport packaging. Like this hot one, an S402 Legacy:

Or the Nissan Stagea, R34 rendition:

They appreciate wagons here..... and a lot of other countries not named the US.

No kidding. His comment clearly shows he hasn't looked at a Ford concept (oops, said Fusion at first) in at least a year.

I've actually seen them all, sunshine. I'm not confident that they'll extend the lightly modified Euro styling across the board.

What fact? The article stated that it would share the same platform. Platform does not equal styling.

But I thought that would be obvious.

yes, I believe that Volvo is the king a station wagons, as we say hear in the States. This is my personal favorite

If wagons became popular again in the States Volvo would do well.

the ford wagon in the back...we had that when i was in elementary school. it was a problem machine, but i loved it. my parents hated it, and to this day, my mom gets angry when she thinks of it. (it was her primary car.) but i had great memories of it.

for the longest time, i've thought that my next car will be an SUV. this thread confirms recent thoughts and ponderings about getting a wagon.

If i could go back to '05 I would have ordered my Legacy as a wagon. For the added utility of it.

4WD Civic Wagon, made to look more badass than you would expect. It's a repost but deserves a place in this thread.

I'm still at the "Overpriced Evo!" comment.
