probably, lol.

No, it was a cool looking car. Other than the gullwings and stainless steel exterior, nothing too groundbreaking. I think he did a better job with the GTO

A man's gotta have dreams, but I find obtainable dreams are alot better...

I know I'll never own a new porsche 911, but one of my dream cars is a porsche 993 C2 (which I could buy for a little more then what I paid for my CLS went the CL was new)...

Heck, most of my dream cars are under $30K...

A 2000 Porshce Carrera is now getting more and more doable. You have a Ferrari 328 getting there price-wise. The NSX is always attractive...lotsa choices. Heck even an Aston DB7!

I think the C1-C3 Corvette's were goregous. C4-C6 don't do as much for me.

My buddy has a '77 and I could KILL for that car

Any of the current Aston Martins!! I even like that Aston Martin copy that Jaguar now produces: XK. I just cannot criticize Jag for copying off something as HOT looking as the Aston Martins. IMHO, it is justified. (although the frontend kind of reminds me of the 4G Eclipse. )

Alfa Montreal: ah, the glamour of... Canada?

Alfa's Happy Shopper supercar turned into something very cool by those Seventies' legend-makers Bertone. Basically a 1750 GTV underneath, with a super racy four-cam V8 under the bonnet, the Montreal was so named because it was first seen in Canada in 1967.

It's more than just style too: 200bhp, fuel injection and a ZF five-speed manual made it a quick car by Sixties standards, but in reality you just need that gorgeous body free of rust and in one of the trendy acid colours of the day.
Wow!

Mercedes T80

From the totalitarian nightmare of pre-WW2 Germany, this incredible, futuristic fantasy emerged. The Merc T80 was an Earth-going spaceship designed for a land-speed record attempt. Sadly it never had its day thanks to the war.

I'm glad you brought this thread back YumYum. I was just thinking last night I needed to add a couple to my list after I watched an episode of Great Cars as well as a Tivo'ed episode of Rides....

DB9

550 Spyder

And I'll probably get killed for this one but...

Holden Ute SS (Austrailia)

^^^ I can't help it. I love it.

ALL of these picks are dead on. my personal top five, no particular order:

1. ferrari 355. was first introduced to this car when i saw the movie "the rock". instant classic imo.

2. 63 vette. this one needs NO explaination. the car is just ridiculous.

3. aston martin vantage. wow.

4. 1997-1999 mitsubishi eclipse. for a common man's car, this was and still continues to be a beautiful car. too bad you can't find many in good shape.

5. 2007 corvette z06. not too fond of many current GM designs, but this one is amazing.

on a side note, many of my friends equate the 3G TL as their dream car. go figure!

looks like a lot of you picked exotic cars just because of its exclusiveness, not appearance-wise.

well, my choices would be:

1.) Mercedes benz S

2.) Lexus GS

3.) MErcedesBenz CL

4.) Lexus LS

5.) Audi R8
