It's currently 36 degrees but I still had a nice top-down drive home tonight. I let two of my friends drive my car and they both said they wanted one after doing so. I can't believe it had been 13 days since I had driven it last; what a long wait it was. I'm going to drive it the rest of the weekend and enjoy the warmer weather. I wonder when my wife will let me modify it...or if that'll ever happen.

I drove around in CA today and it was a balmy 72... I had to turn on the A/C

 

It's a bit colder than "not too bad" when you're doing 75mph when the sun is down I'm not one of those people who has the top down and the windows up either...I just layer up.

 

That's the high here today, was half thinking about taking the car out for a spin...but ultimately decided against it.

 

I had to go back for my phone, Johnny!

 

It's absolutely gorgeous here today; 66 and sunny. I convinced my wife to not fix her hair so I could drive to all of our errands with the top down She really enjoys the car...she just hates how I drive it and bitch about everyone else on the road.

 

LOL...don't worry, we all married that!

Honestly, I now try not to drive the car like I stole it when she *lets* me take her out in it...little by little with some positive experiences to reinforce liking the car...

 

So funny, my girlfriend is very similar.

She doesn't even like the windows down (I always drive with my windows down)

As some of you know, San Diego has been getting a lot of rain lately and it made for some excellent scenery since everything is exploding in preparation for Spring. I wish I took more pictures, but it felt like I was driving through Oregon or Washington in some spots.

I haven't hit the 94 highway on a weekend before and there was more traffic than expected, but we managed 3-4 clean uninterrupted runs as traffic cleared.

These roads are excellent - large run offs, super smooth, lots of banked corners. Best part is you don't see CHP or Sheriffs out there, only Border Patrol ... and you guessed it, they could give 2 shits on how fast you're going

EDIT: My buddy has had his BRZ for a few years now and it's still stock, but I could not believe how well that thing cornered from factory.

Obviously my RS3s / extra power gave me the advantage on every entry / exit / straight, but the stock BRZ is no slouch by anymeans.

It's no longer almost 40 out here. Going to be down into the teens and supposed to get 5-8in of snow tomorrow.

My wife is the exact same way (hates how I drive and b1tch) but she loves the car and will often ask me to take her out just for a drive to nowhere in the summer.

I've always told her top down, top off but that hasn't worked yet...
