It'll take longer than it should, but I'll be able to knock it out. I'm just trying to be efficient with my time

Finally got some new front tires. Just installed Potenza S04's, it has been a long time coming...

Those weren't the tires originally offered when the car was new. Your OEM King title has been revoked

Oh yeah, much better. The old tires were like rocks. I'm surprised they didn't fail on me at some point in time even though there was tread left. The grip is a lot better too.
That ship sailed when I installed the cell phone holder bracket and the bastard replica spoiler.

Very nice!
Haha thanks. Crazy thing is the original owner had it for 10 years and only put 19k ish miles on it. That's about 150+ miles a month. I would kill myself if I only drove such a fun car that little. I'll probably put about 5-6k miles/year on it being a second car.

And only $14,250
though there are still 6 days left to bid.

Ex-OEM King
That'll go for at least $22k if not more.

Today was really fun.
Woke up at 3:45AM this morning, met up with friends, and we drove up to Auto Club Speedway in Fontana and did 12 heats of AutoX. Roughly 100 miles each way
Arrived early for tech inspection & registration:
At the watering hole:
Not exactly the way you want to start your morning:
Luckily it's just a P0420 code... emissions based (don't care).
I can't begin to explain how hot it was on the track. It was around 93 degrees with very little breeze .. tire pressures rose 3 psi from the heat alone.
Despite my Hankook RS3s being pretty bald, they stuck very well at 35psi front & rear. Car remains very easy to control, absolutely love the setup.
After putting a lot of energy & attention into the S4 over the last year, I have a mega boner for Honda's reliability.
I ran my 162k S2000 in almost a hundred degree heat and drove 100 miles each way without a single hiccup .... I love it.
Felt so bad I had to wash it getting home. Gotta show it some love right?
Times I saw today:
Ford Focus RS (saw about 3 of them) - 72s
Other S2000s - 67s - 73s
NB Miata - 67s - 72s
C6 Z06 - 69s
Newer WRX - 73s
Bonkers E36 M3 Sedan - 66 sec
I ran a 70.6 on my 2nd to last heat - I'd say 4 of the 12 runs I made were DNF .. got lost over and over

P0420 is either downstream O2 sensor or cat. I thought you had a test pipe or something

A part on my car had a catastrophic failure.
The light bulb for the air vent control knob went out.

Ugh. Unreliable POS.
Pretty much ready for the scrap heap. I'll take care of disposing of it if you'd like. I'll give you the $750 in scrap metal value and I can pick it up whenever is convenient.
Just let me know.
