Finally- regular is under $3.00 now at more than a few stations in Los Angeles. $2.75 regular/$3.03 premium @ Costco in Culver City/Marina del Rey this morning. It's the first time I've paid less than $40 to fill the TL (premium only) in well over a year. :shakehead
The down side is that there will be more traffic on the freeways during rush hour.

The latest data from users of GasBuddy.com show that prices are dipping below $2 a gallon in some parts of the USA.
The site says drivers found fuel selling for $1.93 in Harlingen, Texas, $1.94 in Lawton,Okla., and $1.98 in Huntingdon, Tenn. (We called gas stations in each of those communities. They confirmed the GasBuddy reports.)
On a national basis, AAA says the average price of regular gasoline is $2.67 a gallon.

I went out for lunch, $1.76 for regular, $1.96for premium.
This is South Texas and they say we have some of the cheapest gas in the nation. Ths is for Valero gas, not some off brand name.
No complaints here, $30 to fill up the TSX...

The sizzle in the Steak
Sad part about lower gas prices:
The U.S. federal gov't. will go back to sitting on their hands when it comes to future energy policy. So much for all the talk of drilling etc. When gas/oil prices drop it's back to business as usual: Do nothing.
We are a reactive gov't not proactive gov't when it comes to energy policy.
No forsight....no future planning.
We will be back again screaming about high gasoline prices again...between now and the time they go back up again, nothing will be done.
US Gov't Energy Policy = FAIL
