The Official Gas Price Discussion Thread

it's 2.50 around here for regular. i think it will hit 2 bucks(flat) before it stops dropping. this is true if the market keeps dropping.
oil was at about 70 a barrel. if oil keeps dropping Ford,Dodge and GM actually might rally due to cheaper gas and they rely on cheap gas to put in pickups and SUVs

Well no one saw this economic crisis coming. Gas could have gone a lot higher but since the global economy sucks gas prices will fall.

Enjoy the "cheaper" but not cheap gasoline while you can...even thought it is still more expensive than a year ago.

it's truly amazing that this is in fact awesome. I filled up yesterday at 2.99(reg) I figure since prices peaked, I'm now saving $15 a week on my commute. Now I dont have to drink Budweiser, I can now afford Heineken again.

I think premium (92) was $3.39 at the station I went to on Saturday.
Hate to say it but this is a temporary sunbreak on a cloudy day. Right now we're in an economy scare...people and companies are temporarily cutting back on spending and transportation which is temporarily driving down worldwide demand for oil/gas. The ecomony will recover sooner or later and we'll go right back business as usual and to paying $4.00+ and probably much more as time goes on.
But no temporary shock to the economy can change the fact that oil is becoming more and more expensive due to real world-market conditions and actual scarcity. In plain english, there's nowhere near enough of it to support projected economic growth worldwide.

hahahahahahhaha. I was gonna say something too, but decided not too. Last time I made a comment about nasty beer it was about Pabst Blue Ribbon, and too many people defended it... so I just figured it was a lost cause b/c people here have crappy taste in beer, so I let it slide.
But good call

well, if I told you guys what I actually drank it would defeat the purpose. I like Heineken at a bar sometimes or as a keg beer. I'm actually more into lesser known beers. Ommegang, Dog fish head, Blue moon...ect
Figured if I put Ommegang up there, maybe one person would have heard of it before. anyway, I'm def. not in love with Heineken. However the point was valid, I really couldnt afford Ommegang anymore and had to drink crap beer, but now I can drink it again, so all is good. I actually can drive to the brewery(10 minutes away).

it dropped about a dime in a day. it's 2.35 for regular.
I heard OPEC is going to suggest to cut production on Friday. so i suggest everyone to get gas either Thurs night or Friday morning.

it has to be, I'm in a low income county and man gas below $3 has to be pumping some money into the local economy. It goes down 10 cents a day, I wont even bother posting the new price anymore since it changes daily. Chavez can shove it. If were gonna invade another country let it be him just for being an a$$hole.
