$3.27 for premium in San Antonio, 2 hours south, we're paying $2.95 for premium. I can't confirm it, but I've heard there are stations at $2.65 for regular. I saw $2.75 at lunch today adn that is all over town.

3.19 last night, havent gone out today to look. I have a feeling by next week we will be in the 2.90's 80's the way we have been dropping. (about 5-10 cents every other day)

Now that our gas crisis has ended, prices are retreating as quickly as flood water. Premium here is $3.69 at my local QuikTrip. Regular is 30 cents cheaper.

it was 2.65 here for cheap shit. they are projecting oil to go down atleast another 15 bucks per barrel before it really stops. I think a lot depends on Wall Street and plus how soon they get a hold of the economy.

I've heard they say the floor might not hit until $35 a barrel, prices that haven't been seen since 2004. The global economy is really taking a hit and demand is down worldwide. It's possible, I say.

$3.12 for regular here this morning, down from $3.29 just yesterday afternoon at my local station. I still find it hard to believe that I'm getting excited for gas priced at almost $3 per gallon.

$3.39/49/59 for 87/89/93...that's a huge drop compared to the last month. Everyday when I drove home last week, it had dropped ten cents from the previous day. Mid grade and premium are still hard to find, though.

How about them gas prices???
Ok this is a pointless thread I admit but seeing as how I just filled up today ($2.67/regular - $2.89/premium) I just thought I would take the opportunity to say "I told you so" to all the doubters who didn't believe me when I said gas would be under $3/gallon by the end of Oct. Well, it didn't even take that long. So to all of you naysayers (you know who you are) who swore up and down that we'd never see gas under $4 again, much less $3, I told you so!

Part of the reason petroleum distillate maintained a high level so much even with dropping crude prices was due to the refineries being offline attributable to hurricane Ike (though I think its more to do with big oil trying to fatten their bottomline in the face of a recession).
That said, most gas stations here in NJ are still in the $3 though they are dropping. I don't think we'll see much below $2.50, in face of the OPEC extraordinary meeting scheduled for next month when we'll see sizable production cuts, not to mention probable rate cuts (which typically drive up oil prices). So, keep conserving folks.
