The Official Gas Price Discussion Thread (locked)
The Acura TL and the modified RX7 Turbo both require premium, but as they aren't driven in the winter, haven't needed gas since last October, so can't wait until I fill them up when the warm weather arrives. Hopefully the prices will drop just as quickly as they have risen when all calms down.......If that ever happens.
Presently 3.19/3.29/3.37 for the various grades near Flemington, NJ
I know this has been posted previously, but nice to see the difference in the area:

We're at $3.70 today; was $3.68 on Friday.
I heard on Friday that prices rose about $0.06 over-night Thursday to Friday and that this week we could see another $0.30 jump.
That'd put us right at $4.00 for premium by the end of the week.
Paid 3.21 for 91 on the way back to Denver today, got a $0.10 a gallon discount on top of that for using my Sooper card.
Edit: Also like to add that the 330xi got 27.6 MPG according to the onboard computer for the drive back, much better than the 19 MPG I get in the city.

3/4 ton suburban last time gas was over 4 gallons was $150 a tank at 33 gallons. Most places that required two purchases due to stupid $100 limit. Going to car shows 7 hours away towing enclosed trailer means 6 to 7mpg so 2.5 tanks each way. Not looking forward to this summer at all.
You must be driving some serious miles.
Plus the difference in lower octane price and the bottle of octane boost pretty much cancel them selves out.

Need a Diesel. My buddy is roughly 700hp and 1600 lb/ft and he still gets around 22 on the hwy with his lifted crew cab. (when his foot isnt in it) Towing, unless he is over 10k on the trailer he never sees a difference

Shit 100 limit would be nice. Most around here are still at 75. Really Most truck will suck up 75. I hate having to hang up the pump, reinsert my credit card and pump another 10-20 bucks

Yeah I got lucky and its not my truck. My dad didn't want a truck but rather a full size SUV instead. So I am stuck with the shitty fuel mileage when towing using the 6L V8. However I don't have to pay for the truck, insurance, or maintenance so I guess it is worth it.
When I get my own truck it will definitely be a 2500 series diesel which should get my exactly the same results as your buddy is getting.

I'm pretty sure gas has jumped $.30 a gallon (at least) in since I last filled up a few days ago.
$3.45 for 87 and $3.75 for 93.
Maybe I should go get a diesel ... I drove 25k miles this year.

I just paid $3.96 @ ARCO for premium this a.m. I saw a Chevron with premium @ $4.06 this a.m. in mid-town Los Angeles.
Costco was @ $3.91 in Marina del Rey, but too crowded when I went by the area yesterday.
