Alejandro should has NEVER sold this car. Not only is it arguably one of the most gorgeous cars ever built, it's a 1 of 1 of an already exclusive builder. When this car is a classic it'll probably make history on the auction block if David Lee ever decided to sell it.

Agree but as you know he doesnt really "collect" cars so the value 10-15yrs from now doesnt really concern him. He'll make up that money flipping cars
I dont think anything in his garage has been there over a year plus all the Rolls are leases

Honestly speaking for a second, David Lee gets a bit too much flack about how he took "credit" for Alejandro's build as his own idea just because he coined it the Da Vinci after Alejandro called it the 730S. The car was not some unique vision to begin with: 1) it copied the Tricolore scheme & 2) another Huayra already did that first, and it did it to a T. To Al's credit, he probably didn't know he was beaten to the punch.
Now, David Lee himself has guilt in this too because when he sees criticism about the car in regards to Alejandro or the original 730S nameplate, he immediately bans people on his IG and labels them as haters. For someone who seems to have "no time for negativity", he makes very passive aggressive IG posts about the car and plays up his relationship to Horacio Pagani, as if he was indeed, the original owner.
I apologize for the rant, I just can not stand the stupid social media drama about this car or David Lee always getting butt hurt about it. It's not a unique car & Alejandro, to my understanding, didn't even like it afterwards because it fell short of his performance expectations.

I've been following Alejandro since he did the Hyper 5 video. In his videos hes usually pretty funny to watch but definitely has a smug/idgaf attitude towards people outside his group
As for the 730s bullshit, from my prospective David Lee tried to cut corners. When he bought the car (named it DaVinci) he basically made it sound like he got it new, his own spec, etc... He tried to dismiss the cars past, which is hard when half the internet knows who originally had it. If he embraced the 730s name none of this would've happen, but who am I to tell a millionaire what to do.

Look how he desecrated this hellcat.. also.. I still don't understand what's so big about a name.. the name is Huayaraarearaafyayaya.. any squabble over a pet name is asinine.
ugh.. I hate hearing his voice.. like a cat orgy on a chalkboard

Lets call a spade a spade. They're both filthy rich with massive egos, fighting over a car name is not surprising at all

Well, props to him for the way he handled his criticism, better than BC did with Koenigsegg. From what I gathered, the worst that happened was that Pagani wasn't too fond of his comments, but they still parted ways respectfully & left it at that.

So... who thinks the Huracan Performante Ring time is fake? I'll have to admit, before watching any of the "that lap time was fake" videos, I thought that the frames were moving too fast in the official Lamborghini video.
#4589
Racelogic, a VBOX manufacturer believed the time was indeed, legitimate.
Lamborghini also provided the full telemetry. The only issue is that the speed was a bit glitchy due to GPS, but I'll take a graph & a 3rd company whose expertise lies in tracking lap data over some dude who seemed to have made up his mind before gathering actual data.
Real or Fake? There is some controversy brewing over the recent video posted by Lamborghini showing a 2017 Huracan Performante clocking a 6m52s lap of the ring. This piqued our interest, so here is our (somewhat geeky) analysis:
The distance between the gantry and bridge is 1727m which was calculated in Circuit Tools using some customer VBOX data. This was then confirmed using the measuring tool in Google Earth. We then integrated the speed from the on-screen telemetry data on the Lambo every second using the built-in video time-stamps to obtain distance travelled. This data was obtained by stepping through the video in a video editor and entering the displayed speed every second into Excel. When integrated, the telemetry data made it 1728m from gantry to bridge, so the reported speeds and times between these two points on the circuits matched the real world distance precisely. This means that the speeds on the videos seem entirely realistic.
We then analysed the engine sound (using an FFT analysis) from the Huracan at top speed on the same straight, which showed a maximum of just under 7750 rpm on the rev counter. This analysis showed a strong peak at 640Hz which equates to 7680rpm for a V10. Therefore our opinion, based on both pieces of evidence, is that the video has not been speeded up. Next time, it would be a lot easier if they used a VBOX Video.
