Probably one of Audi's coolest eras. After reading about it a bit, I recall hearing the whole competition laughed at Audi for entering a 5 cylinder Sedan.

Yeah, Audi's history in racing is pretty decent.
I think that's honestly one of my measurements in a car manufacturer...how they do in racing. This is why, off-record that I have my cynicism about brands like Tesla...sure, they may be fast with their modes and etc. but let's see they do that for 24 hours pushing the car to the limits. The reliability of their cars, as confirmed by JD Power's recent report, is pretty stunning...
If I'm going to electric, I'll wait for the Germans to deploy theirs (starting to already) and buy theirs. Oopsh hijack...
