Just a few things regarding that Maserati:

1. in the 2nd picture, it looks like there are massive holes in the rear rotor. Am I seeing that correctly?

2. in the first picture, man, that grill looks awesome.

3. Beautiful body overall, though I can't help but look at the roof and think how it would crumble like a cracker... the A pillar, non existent B pillar, and C pillar look like tooth picks!!

Edit: Wait, I'm guessing those aren't brake rotors? I'm guessing this thing had drum brakes, front and rear? I don't see any calipers, and it's a 50s car...

1. Not sure what those holes are. Anyone else know?

2. Indeed.

3. It's the full-on Madmen-ethos: fun (or addiction) before health (smoking, alcohol, etc.), men before women (sexism), and style before safety (cars).... [sarcasm]

My best guess is some form of vented brake drums?

They are hydraulic drum brakes. There was a Competition model that had the same front rotors as the rears; I imagine the holes are for venting. Can't find much about them.

There are 2 Corsas going up for sale in the US on the topic of the MC12; $2.7 million in Florida & one auctioning this month in California.
