^Agreed. Shame Lotus' safety requirements phased out here in the US just before the new Exige was released. I think I've read there's a tiny handful of them here as track-only cars.

We do, except they're not street legal because they don't meet US laws regarding safety. Once the "smart" airbag exemption expired, all Elise/Exige models were no longer eligible to be sold here after '12.

It's a little frustrating that Japan can field a series like that and we struggle to get something like IMSA to stay around.
