Indeed it does look off.

Isn't that the case on every Lamborghini?

I thought that they have been doing that for some reason (that I can't remember) for quite a while.

Driver involvement.

It may just be tradition for with the Aventador, but back with the 5/6-speed cars, the transmission was situated closer to the driver for his convenience, with in turn, gave the engine an off center placement.

Rally

Interesting tidbit about the Aventador.... the engine placement makes sense due to the tradition of the transmission being shifted over a bit. I wonder how the left/right weight distribution is though?

ah, whatever. It's a god damn Aventador, it doesn't matter

Can't decide which I like better. The SLS does look nicer with the roof chopped off, but then you lose this:

Ughhhhhhhh Aventador

While the SLS doors may look goofy, they are awesome in person. I feel like the car lost a huge chunk of its personality when it lost the roof and doors for the drop top.

I agree. I love the doors and the original Gullwing is what the entire car was modeled after. Really a key component to the car.

I agree, but I still believe it looks better w/o. I think my opinion has something to do with how huge this car is. I think if AMG would have made this car smaller (closer to the original Gullwing) it may look better.

This guy that lives a couple miles away always has new, expensive cars. Past by and saw a red 458 Italia. Will try to stop by and snap a pic next time.

Bugatti Type 41 Roadster, aka the "Royale". 21 feet long, 7,000 lbs, and a 12.7L (779 c.i.) straight-8 engine producing 275-300 hp... in 1927.

only 6 were made.
