Here is one pic after I waxed her. Unfortunately, I noticed some etched water spots on certain angles after the wax. After doing some research, looks like it's going to need the Meguiar's 2 step buff/polish with M105/205. I'm going to try to do it myself when I have some time.
Mike, thanks.
I feel the same.
Anyway, now after the New Z06 reveal, I'm going to save that 10K for a supercharger and put it towards the deposit on the C7 Z06. The ported throttle body will be the last mod; should be coming tomorrow. I'm so glad I didn't give in to the temptation to keep the base Z51 Stingray when I had it...

Looking good and good luck with the water spots, they can be terrible to remove (some may not come up). You planning on using a porter cable or something to polish it out and correct the paint? I could be wrong but in my experience, etching typically can't be fixed by hand.
I'm sure you have checked it out but if you haven't, the wash and wax forum on here is VERY informative. I would check it out, get a PC if you don't have one yet and practice a bit on your car before you take delivery of a Z06 so you can keep her looking pristine.
There is something so rewarding about spending a long afternoon polishing your car up. I don't know what it is but I love doing it.

Thanks Brosef. Where the hell you been? I'm going to give you a call...
Glad to see you've come around. Thanks.
Thanks SB
Yea, I picked up a Porter Cable and am going to do it myself. One thing is I don't trust anyone anymore with my car (too many bad experiences leaving my Vette with strangers in the past), but secondly it's exactly what you said, the reward is what it's all about.
Anyway, got around to installing the ported throttle body. Took me about 45 minutes. Thankfully my Tune adjusted to it nicely. Throttle response is a bit quicker, its a lot smother revving down in gear, and there may be a few more ponies on the butt dyno.
Left is the new, Right is my old one.

i'm a bit sad that they got rid of the mid tier model since it seems like the C7 Z is the ZR1 replacement...
i still prefer the drop top 'vert over the hardtop C7 though....

I'm using Lashway Motorsports for the side skirts and front splitter.
My order was placed today! They should be here in 2-3 weeks.
