They took this new gen of 3 series too much towards lexus level steering feel and that is probably the biggest gripe, everything else is personal preference and not much different from the previous model.
The interior design, plus the steering feel does have a "Lexus" vibe to it.

Which is funny considering Lexus interiors are moving in design more like BMW interiors.

Is that a joke?

BMW LCI HID headlamps are retarded expensive. Plus you need your car recoded, and I know on the 07's you need a new hood, bumper and fenders. I don't think you need the hood, bumper or fenders on the 08+ though.

I'd love an e90 335i, but unfortunately with my mortgage and the cost and amount of mods you can do I'd have to sell a kidney.

My friend just got an 07 e90 335i, and he loves it. Somehow he's getting two brand new turbos and wastegate replaced for free at the dealer. Plus, he's got kw coilovers, an active autowerke charge pipe and bov, an intake with the scoops(can't remember the brand off hand), aftermarket muffler, and he's about to get new downpipes and midpipes. He used to have an e46 M3 fully modded, and he says the N54 even with a minor tune is Way better than his ///M was.

My sister works at a Bimmer dealer, so they'd be able to find me one exactly how I'd like it, but it's still so hard to find one that has everything you want.

07-08 are the same style.

09+ had a facelift (lci) however the headlight SHAPE stayed the same like the 07-08 years. There is no need to get a new hood, bumper, or fenders if you have an pre-lci car.

Many go with these depot brand. Not OEM quality but they seem popular if you looking for a cheaper route for xenons. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DEPO-2009-20...d978fd&vxp=mtr

You are partially right about the 08's being pre-LCI it was mid year they changed, but according to all the guys on e90post.com the 09 LCI headlamps do not fit the 05-08's. Even the link you posted shows they only fit the 09-11.

You could however get the pre-LCI euro lights that don't have the ugly amber.

These are the parts that you need for LCI conversion not including the actual headlamp housing itself:
63-11-7-182-396 CONTROL UNIT FOR 2x $114.58
63-12-7-250-624 CONTROL UNIT XEN 2x 359.92
63-21-7-217-509 BULB XENON LIGHT 2x 156.78
63-12-7-245-815 TURN SIGNAL LED, 1x 148.44
63-12-7-245-816 TURN SIGNAL LED, 1x 148.44
Then add at least another grand on top of that for OEM housing you're looking at over $2,500.

The site is currently performing maintenance, but take a look at this post on e90post.com.

So far so good! I enjoy my time behind the wheel....especially cornering.

To be quite honest I've been so busy, I have barely had time to sit and collect my thoughts.

As far as "mods" go (short term), I will get it tinted as soon as I have a free Saturday or Sunday. Hoping sooner than later.

I think I'm gonna get some lux HALO's, but from what I gather I need to get the car coded for corner light delete, and angel eyes only as DRL.

Gotta find a code monkey.
