Neighbor has a CT5 (I think) with the 2.0T (dealer demo from their used lot, local Ford dealer)
It's definitely a nice looking car, in more basic lux spec. The Blackwing

Of course, the car is probably the best driving car on your list.
LOL, yeah, being in my mid-60s now I am guessing/hoping I have at least another 25 or so driving years in front of me, I figure if I was to buy the Cayman, I'd own it until I was too decrepit to drive any longer and then my "car-guy" son would be more than happy to inherit it. That's a win; if he doesn't want it, I'm betting by 2047 I'll have no problem selling it for WAY more than I pay for it.

The whole DD thing is pretty much the crux of my dilemma, I don't drive but once or twice every two weeks or so, and when I do, it would be nice to have a destination in mind where I could tow a boat to and/or have a small camper arrangement like the Thule rack tent thing.

I haven't owned a GM car since the late 80's so not sure about reliability, but these two sure pack a punch and are a long way from a Tacoma.
I briefly had a Blackwing on my short list; it slots between the Golf R and the Cayman from a price perspective; my thinking when I took it off my list was I'd probably gravitate to one extreme or the other, the VW or the Porsche. That said, I think owning either of the Blackwings would be a blast.

Then the decision should be between a fun car or a boat/camper.

I still dont see Tacoma to be part of that conversation. It is something neither/or.
If i were to tow something, i would probably get a Tundra or a real SUV .
If i wanted a fun car, then Porsche it is. Buy the best Porsche that i could afford and drive it till i dont want it anymore.
