I just got off the phone with Acura's regional manager here in Detroit and he said that the new TL which will come out in late March will be completely redesigned. He wouldnt give me exacy numbers but said that there will be a hp boost, as well as voice activated navi, ac , and radio controlls.

 

sweet deal... rumors are fading away.. now it seems its a fact that it will be all new... woo hoo.

 

I asked about the cl, but he said that acura has not said anything about whether or not the cl will be dicontinued or redesigned.

 

I'm not surprised based on what Honda did with the Accord. I was told the same thing by someone in my Acura dearership. But, still no news on the CL.

 

I wonder if it'll be possible to 'upgrade' or replace the navi on our CLs with the next-gen navi that acura is coming up with (probably same as the one on the accord but you never know)...

If acura won't do it, that would make a nice project for a geek like myself. Assuming you could still use the same GPS modules and sensors on the car... otherwise it'd be too hard.
