just curious.. when is the MDX going to come out with a new model/generation?? my dad's dying to get one, but he wants to know what the newer model looks like first, before he decides on getting this year's model or the upcoming (if any) model.

I don't think a new one is coming out for a while. Acura is going to release the RDX first, then go back and work on the MDX.

If he can, I would say wait. It'll probably be another year before we see a brand new MDX. Or just get one now and trade when the new one comes out...

oh.. but hasnt the MDX's current gen been going on for a while now? i think theyre overdue for a new makeover.. not just adding little things to the body or putting fun gadgets in or making rectangular tailpipes.. but actually making a fresh new design..

Yes, the redesign should be any day now. Honda usually has a 5 year life cycle, but it's not uncommon for their cars to go as long as 6 years before a new model is released. The RL took 8 years and the NSX...well, I think they're aiming for a record.
