New daily for daddy?
CTS-V sedan you can get in the $30's now for 2009-2010. They are reasonably reliable, too.
SRT 300 looks badassed, is fast, and the interiors have improved over the years.
Seriously, RLX Sport Hybrid. It's actually better than you think, and with the awful depreciation you can get a used one cheap.
But really, CTS-V. Join the movement....

They wanted to re-brand themselves by making it more confusing..
I voted Chevy SS. You get power, looks and uniqueness. You get similar internals as the CTS-V, which I like but the styling is a little much for me. The chrysler products just seem to look old quickly. The GS's are really nice but more of a luxury cruiser. The Germans maintenance is too much of a risk. All IMO.
i didn't realize how expensive the RLX SH is... $65k new? is that right?

Yes 65k brand newThat is why I said used. RLX depreciates faster than Germans...
and now i am waiting for SSFTSX to find me some examples to prove me wrong.

how the f did this thread just magically double my budget?
yes because of the above comment... this would still be my daily and the GSF at $85k is basically fully loaded and i can jump into every day and not have to worry about an insane maintenance or warranty coverage on the car... with an S6, M5, or E63 i'd definitely have to worry about an extended warranty...
it's all vapor money anyway...when i went to look at the NSX for bob last night and i was drooling over the car, i quickly went home and told my Mrs that i want one if the right one pops up...
after looking over the finances, it wouldn't be financially smart right now with baby and all... so alas, continue to dream... i'll continue to drive my 01'GS430 till it dies...

The SS is not a bad option as noted above. There is the issue of fuel consumption, but the SS is a true sleeper. You could sneak that one past the wife. Used they are probably in your range.
...and the drivetrain is robust, old-tech, and therefore rock steady reliable.
