I saw the sedan on the freeway today. I saw a car I didn't recognize so I sped up to see what it was...and when I saw the "H" symbol, I was floored. That's one of the nicest, most upscale looking Honda/Acuras I've seen. I seriously thought "that looks as good or better than the TSX." Is it wrong for me to covet a Civic when I should be looking at TSXs or TLs?

A local dealership has one of those in the showroom, it's some awful yellow/green color, and it's all original. I don't think it was ever sold. It's kind of neat to see another Honda I can't fit in

The new Si is a bomb... I bet so many youngsters will buy it..... Both exterior and interior are so neat and racy.. Also, the Si has a NAVIGATION... it was very nice.

I currently own a 05 TL, but the new Si kinda makes me to think about changing my car......

Should I give my car to my mom and buy the new SI guys?

The new Si is "a bomb" or "da bomb"? There's quite a difference there.

Ok, so this is really illustrating Acura's need for a hot coupe. The fact that Acura drivers are looking at a Civic with longing.

They had one down here in Miami at Braman Honda. I don't know if it's still there since I banned that place. I wonder if it's the same.

I'd get it over the Mazda 3. Now if the Mazda 3 had the navigation system from the Honda Civic, I would rather have the Mazda 3.

Hells yeah! The Mazda 3 looks too small from the side. I'm lovin' the new rear on the Civic

Typical dealer BS for servicing.

Braman is off the Palmetto on Coral Way (24th st) and like 70th Ave. The one your talking about is South Honda. They're ok and I'm cool with one of the service advisors. I bought from South VW which is right next door.

In a heartbeat. The Mazda3 is a nice car, don't get me wrong...it raised the bar on the compact market. But the new Civic sees the M3 and raises it some more. The Civic is much nicer looking and I'm sure the build quality, reliability and handling meet or exceed the M3. This is the Civic Honda fans have been waiting more than a few years for.

After seeing the new Civic EX sedan on the road I'd get the Mazda3 over the Civic without a doubt. The Mazda3 has a nicer interior, more power, and more upscale features then the Civic.

The new Si will dyno higher than the TSX and will run faster in the 1/4 mile.

You're mixing one sentence I wrote with a completely different one.

The Rsx is faster than a Tsx in the 1/4 mile, but an Rsx isn't making more power than a Tsx right? I said I doubt the SI is making more power than a TSX, when you said the SI was making ~ 200whp, just as a general statement from what I've seen from the RSX and TSX dynos, its a 2.4 vs a 2.0 engine.

I also think you're being a little over confident on an SI smoking a TSX when there are no specs on what this car can even do... 2nd who said anything about comparing the 1/4 mile times between a TSXand SI? The 1/4 mile of the SI itself, itself alone will show the power of the engine under its hood.

People who are expecting this engine under the SI's hood to be some marvel that the RsxS's engine wasn't are in for a disappointment imo.

When TOV starts using Dynojets, I'll start accepting their dyno numbers. I don't think they are out to fool anyone, but when they post dynapack numbers from the hubs at one hp number then comment that xx amount of hp/lb has to be removed due to tires being removed/ contact patch etc etc, it just loses too much in translation and people start posting that the car is making the same amount of whp as it is at the crank when its not...
