my preference is something quick with a good acceleration. nothing too big, size isnt an issue as i dont carry much stuff or people in my car. need something awd due to the rain and snow here in nj and also has to be automatic since neither of my parents can drive stick lol
Sounds like the G37X would be the right car for you and it has among the fastest acceleration of it's class. However finding a new one under 35 will prove difficult.

Maybe an Lancer Evolution?

Fills all the requirements.

Don't ask us, ask yourself for under 35K, there are just so many options out there on new cars.

Personally I say you get an Audi A4, Acura TSX V6, Hyundai Genesis Coupe, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR (Maybe you can talk them down to 35K) or Infiniti G37x.

so my parents are looking at a new car for me.. they are very satisfied with acura because it did save me in that accident. they were looking at getting either-

2010 tsx v6 (automatic)
2010 tl fwd (automatic)
or
2010 subaru impreza 2.5gt

the subaru is in the list because they too have a pretty good safety rating according to my dad.

wanted to know what you guys thought, the v6 tsx and the fwd tl have like the same exact engine so which would you say to choose? price wise they are almost equal. the 2.5gt has a 224hp turbo engine.

what i want out of the car is acceleration. i dont like driving too fast, but i like having a good acceleration off of a red light. really i want something that is safe, but also gets some looks. tech is another thing, ive always been a fan of hi-fi car tech and acura does a pretty good job of it. but out of those three, what would win a race off of a red light? which would you think is the best buy? which looks the best to the ladies? lol whichever one i do end up getting is going to have a black exterior and black interior.

thanks for your help guys

Between those 3 I'd pick the new 4G TL. Its bigger and better build with techie gadgets you are looking for. I drive a 3G and used to hate the 4G beak but it doesnt look as bad depending on the color and besides if you really hate it then there's a RJ grill option.

First I wanna say you are the most mature 17y/o I've seen on this site in a long ass time It's nice to see a kid take his parents' offerings and not act like a whiny brat about them.

I don't care for either of the Acura's, I'd take the Subie over both of those, IMO. Have you driven the Subie?

after a lot of searching, and arguing with parents its between:
2010 subaru impreza 2.5gt
2010 subaru legacy 3.6r
2007 or 2008 acura tl type-s

finally got my parents to entertain the idea of a used car, but they said it had to be one they were comfortable with, which would be acura. i dont think they are looking to spend more than 26k on a used car so i found a few dealers in the area having certified 07 and 08 tl-s for sale around that price.
do you guys think i should just go for the tl-s then?
