I really don't know what is going to make these anymore special than the ones on the market by Belkin.
I tried finding out more information about them on their website but didn't see anything.
Car Adapters Control iPods
Now Playing: Duke Ellington
Topic: Entertainment
Directed Electronics, Inc. just released four iPod adapters that allow users to listen to their music through the vehicle's radio. The four models work with Ford, GM, Honda and Toyota vehicles, and the CD Changer controls the iPod to skip through songs, change playlists and shuffle the tunes.
The adapters can also automatically recharge the iPod's battery and sell for $160.
Similarly BMW has a new iPod adapter that is compatible with Sirius satellite radios and HD radios.
By the time auto makers get around to standardizing on iPod interfaces the music machines will have been replaced by something else.
