@ truck nuts.
I find that the refreshed models tend to stand out in traffic much more, especialy a clean model.

My new Santa Fe is that way. I was on US-30 on my way to Astoria two weeks ago and two-lane passing with the old one was a sphincter-clenching exercise as it would run out of steam right around 65 mph. It would still gain speed but would lose lots of enthusiasm for it above 70. This new one will just walk right up to 100 and ask for more. It's so nice having power!

THanks! Afraid I may need to mount a bike rack on it soon...
Thanks.
It's taking a little getting used to, to be honest! I keep looking down and seeing that I am going 80 and it freaks me out since I am in a grocery store parking lot.

stogie congrats on the pick up...i'm looking at a one or two year used M-sport to pick up in the spring.
i think you need a proceed vishnu V5....and some catless DP's and a dual cone intake. now then you'll be making some serious power

Congrats!
I heard that really big, hairy spiders are attracted to the color blue. I wonder how many made a home in it on its journey from Germany.....

I couldn't drive it today because of the date rape drugs the doctor gave me this morning, so I went in the garage just to look at it today.

I live in fear of Karma...
Some of you may call me a sucker...
I dropped my 335i coupe off today at the dealership to get the windows tinted. This was not a free tint included in the price of the car. During the sale, the dealership finance guy made me a good offer for the tinting ($269 +tax) so after driving it for a week, I took it in to have it done. Made the appointment over the phone and indicated it was a "pay" service not a free one. Total was going to be $299 including tax, etc... No prob, I was cool with the price.
When I arrived to pick the car up, the invoice said $0.00 due. The girl working the service counter said something like "Right, it was a brand new car right? That's how it usually is. You should just sign the papers and go."
Knowing that's only how it is when its negotiated into the price of the car, and knowing that:
A. I didn't negotiate that
B. Someone was going to be held accountable for the labor/material costs
I asked for my service advisor and told him I had arranged the tinting outside of the sale and was quoted a total of $299.
He looked at me, said most people wouldn't have said anything, and then rang me up for $250 total.
I was happy to pay.
Am I nuts?

Probably. I don't know where you bought it, but BMW of Scottsdale always assigned my mom the same guy to deal with service/ warranty claims (I was always the one that drove up there). I would think you would want to start off on a good food if you are going to see the same people again and again for the next 4 years.

^That's the place and that the exact reason.
Also, had I snuck out without paying, I would have immediately found myself on the freeway behind a gravel truck with a loose rear tarp...
