is this the new bmw m5? anyone know?

I was driving home today with my wife. When I saw 3 Bmw's driving in the same lane. None of the cars had badges but everyone inside had like 2 laptop computers inside each car. I decided to take pictures and see if anyone knew what car this was? I was just curious. Thanks.

I must admit... I didn't care for this car at first (seeing pics online), but after seeing it in person... it IS pretty sweet.

I don't like it - and I've lost faith in the "looks better in person" approach due to the 4G TL.

I saw a new BMW parked on the side of the street the other day and now I'm pretty sure it was this. I nearly snapped my neck turning to check what it was. Looks good IMO.

i think it's just because we're looking at pictures and the new lines of the car that it doesn't look as big. it'll probably still be as big as an suv just shorter like usual. these things look pretty sweet. i'm still convinced the 4g tl is the worst looking out of all of the new cars. i always get reminded of that when i see a new model like this come out and i end up liking it upon first glance.

If you're implying that the 3 are virtually unidentifiable simply because they follow similar taillight patterns, you're an idiot.

yea, but it also had nothing to do with the thread. No one was comparing it to other cars.

Also, as a tip, we post sarcasm in red text around here.

that's the 760Li M package, quad tips for the 60, chrome trim for the M.

The old 7 has a design that was a lot more subtle in photos, but a lot better in person. The new 7 has a huge front end that sharply turn up into the hood, and the rear end straight of an LS with BMW touches. That along with all the problem's its having and it's a first year 7 series!

I hate the way this looks. What sucks the most is that it's going into all the new designs. Hopefully it's better in person.

same here, the only thing I like is the new technology and the better I drive interface with more features. As well the active speed detection with the active cruise is an amazing feature (it reads the speed limit signs and displays it on you HUD with the camera for Active cruise control.

That's cool. I always wished they'd just program that into the GPS so you can see on the navi screen, but I guess that's just as good.
I wonder what will happen when it goes by the 65 signs with a 1 spray painted on them?
