dad finally got a new truck. replaced his 1990 Toyota V6 4wheel drive



this truck drives nice, im ready to get rid of my TL for one of these

it has:
an Airaid intake
6inch Procomp lift
Procomp rims and tires
Delphi XM reciever

its an 06 with 35k, got it for 19k

but seriously, this shitty weather makes wish i still had my yota. it was an 89 V6 4x4 p/u with 200k. i had waaayy less problems with that than i do with my TL

 

^sounds like a helluva yota you had there lol i've always wanted some kind of a beater truck, take it offroad/mudding/trails.

 

cant go wrong with an old yota bro. bought it off the original owner. all i had to do was replace the clutch, pads/rotors, oil, tires and thats basically it. a/c was cold and everything.

but yeah... sick truck... when do I get a ride homey. I know the perfect place to go 4 wheeling up by shaver. Its a 4 on a scale of 1-10. not too difficult but the trail is funa as heck!!!

nice! I really, really like that gen Taco truck. I like Toyota trucks in general, a couple years back I didn't really get it or trucks in general.... but when I drove my brother's '85 4Runner 4-cyl it was kinda fun then I took that gen Tacoma for a test drive and it was really nice.

It'd definitely be the truck I'd get.... sadly my brother is in no financial position to get a truck just yet, and he doesn't like the Tacoma.... he likes the Tundra

So my dad decided to part with the Prerunner. He was looking into used FJs, but couldn't find a clean one, and he had mentioned that he didn't want to spend the money on new.

He loved his truck, but he just had knee surgery, and he figured that his truck was getting too high for him.

So he went to go see my buddy that works at Toyota. Yesterday I got a text message while I was work from my friend saying "Thanks for sending your dad my way, I just sold him new FJ, it's really nice." I told him' "No, you're full of shit, he didn't want to buy new." "Yea, it's really nice bro." "WTF?"

So I get off work and see this parked in the driveway

He got it for invoice and got an acceptable deal on the Prerunner. He's happy and sad, but I'm sure the sad will pass.
