Good looking G. Nice clean stance, nothing crazy.

I like lip spoilers, but this ones a bit large and doesnt flow too well with the curvy lines, but I dont like the little chrome strip that it covers up either. Maybe if it were a bit smaller...

Thanks.
No bodykit. I think they all ruin the style of the car. Too extreme.

Thanks. Can't afford to slam it being my only car and our roads.
It's the pictures. It flows better in person and has it's similarities to the OEM one (which was too expensive).

Do you keep two key fobs with you? The new alarm and the ikey?

^Yes, I have to. Because of the sensor in the remote w/ the push button start. Kind of a hassle w/ the new set up for a couple things.

1. If you want to roll the windows down w/ car off, hit/hold unlock with factory fob and it rolls the windows down but also unlocks the car. To lock the car, you have to lock it with the factory fob again.

2. To use remote start, hit the button but then when you open the door, the car will shut off. Then you have to apply brake, hit the push start to start up. Infiniti is not very "remote start" friendly that's for sure.

Lookin good man, I remember checking out this thread when you first got it, but never posted. Great progress...so far these are ALL mods I'd be all over, and probably in that sequence too.

How much do the head/tail lights set you back? They look almost smoked from the inside!?

Thanks man. Appreciate the kind words. It's amazing what a few simple things can do to change a car. Just have to be careful what you choose.

The headlights were actually really cheap. They are only vinyl overlays GTR style. A little soap, heat gun and some careful applying and you're all set. I chose to go this route as oppose to paint because if I sell the car or get sick of the mods, I can peal it right off.

Very true, and I concur, on your car, for some reason it's not as obvious that they are overlays! Maybe the design of the lights...and beautiful I might add...totally transform the car.

Since I've pretty much done everything I said I would in my initial post, I'm wondering if I should go performance. Decisions decisions.....I hear an intake isn't much more than stock since we have 2 intakes and they are both very good for OEM.

The OEM exhaust note I love so if I touched that, it would be an exhaust (like Tanabe) that would be a bit throatier without eliminating that VQ growl.

I'm with ya on the exhaust. I have no intention of touching mine because stock sounds so good...

New rear diffuser.
Pic is from the shop. Too cold/rainy to take outside pics.
Will take better ones when it's nicer.

^Ya know, I was thinkin the same thing and knew someone would probably comment on that. I have to fix the settings on my stupid camera.

I have a Canon SD1300 IS...anyone know how to mess w/ the settings to make the pics look less "wide/bubbly"

I like! The only thing I have against it is that it makes the exhaust tips look sunk in.

^Thanks! The top of the exhaust tip is actually close to flush with the bottom of the cutout. I'll take some side pics once I wash and get good weather.

Clean dude. I like it.

I'm on the bandwagon of folks who like the 19" G wheels, but those fit the car nicely to.

^Thanks! 19's are OK but I'm not a huge fan of tons of spokes. Mine come on the AWD models.

I'm thinking of these 2 wheels. Leaning more towards the Forgestar F14's.
What is everyone's thoughts? Want to stay with a silver look. No gunmetal or black.

I guess anything is possible. There are a lot of tards on these boards who run staggered set ups on FWD TLs, just because it looks kool.

Forgestars look a little too close to your stock rims. I prefer the "mesh" type of look of the Vossens. Plus there is a tiny lip on the Vossens. Adds up to a cleaner looking wheel imho.

Either way your car looks great. The G coupe is on my 'list to drive'.

Both are good, but I like the vossens over the forgestars because of the concavity and the forgestars kinda reminded me of RS4 replicas.

Only reason I was leaning toward to Forgestar (other than the design) was because they come in 19's where the Vossens min size is 20". With Chicago roads and this being my main car, I didnt want to have to deal with any probs.

Oh. Then get the Forgestars. They have to function, first and foremost.

Plus they still look good.
