You can consider:
Acura MDX, BMW X3, Cadillac SRX, Chevy Trailblazer/GMC Envoy, Honda Pilot, Infiniti FX, Lexus RX, Lincoln Aviator, Mercury Mountaineer, Nissan Murano, Toyota 4 Runner/Highlander, VW Touareg and Volvo XC90...

Drove the Pilot this evening... She liked it. Turned right around and went to drive the Murano. She liked it better.

Threw out a number that the guy said initally said they'd take. Backed out on us. About $1000 higher. Not happy.

Oh well... We'll find something. Only a matter of time.

i actually saw an 03 pilot at a local dealer for 23,000 thought that was a great deal...

so if you would go for a used one you may get a killer deal on a pilot...

They have to meet their monthly quotas... Future allotments of vehicles are based on the monthly sales...

I bought my CLS on Sept. 30th Delivered on Oct. 4th, but they had to have me sign some paperwork on the 30th...

You'll get a better interest rate on the new car - also check how much insurance will be - if it's considerably more for one over the other that may be the deciding factor.

hey subaru is offering like something crazy with interest rate.. like 1.9 or 0.9... something like that..

not a huge diff... but maybe 2 or 3k over the life of the loan depending on how much you spend..

my rate was 2.9 and i was happy... but 0.9 is insane...

ok im not trying to be offensive or what not,

but why does everyone need an SUV for kids? Why not a nice sedan??

I know one couple who had a nice NEW large sedan and got rid of it and bought a new SUV for ONE baby...

What about an Acura MDX (i dont know how much they cost).. I really like those.

Edit: talk about kids! are you trying for kids?!

My rate on my '04 Maxima is 1% for 5 years. 120 bucks a month less than my G35C was.

We want an SUV. For hauling crap, etc... Room for kids (eventually). I'd wouldn't mind a sedan, but it's just nice to be able to go places (like costco) and be able to fill the back with crap, not have to worry about room, etc.

Hell, I'd just go get an Accord and be done with it... But unfortunately, it's not that easy.

My Nissan dealer said they are GIVING away Pathfinders right now as a new Gen is coming out. I would look at those, pal. The Nissan rates are sick.

I'd never buy an x rent a car. Those things get abused. And they DO NOT service them well. I don't know how many times I've rented one and the oil was just black and thick as hell.

Eric, remember my buddy ken? He just sold his wifes M3 for a 2005 Pilot with navi. I went tonight to get it.. seems like a nice car.

Not sure how much they go for but he got it for around $33k. Wonder if he got owned on that price

I would seriously look at the 4Runner, we have the Lexus GX470 (essentially the 4-Runner) and we have been so pleased. They just recently upped the HP on the V8 so it is that much better.... good luck on your car search.

I'm eyeing the pilot, and I know I can get it for invoice.

I'm still looking, but there's no sense of urgency. The Pilot is a lock at invoice, any time I want it, it seems.

I know the '05 Murano pricing was just annouced yesterday and they're starting to trickle into the dealer lots. Damn '05s have intelligent key as part of one of their packages. I love toys...

It only looks like a standard remote. The available Intelligent Key converses with the locking system as you approach so that when you touch the handle button, the vehicle is conveniently unlocked. Touch the button twice and all doors are unlocked. The Intelligent Key also allows you to start the engine electronically without even taking the key from your pocket.
