Need a new lease car

we need a new car for my wife. she's interested in the german brands (particularly benz, lower end, maybe C or GLK).

2-3 yr lease, targeting to buy end of 2011 (say Dec 2011), and a 2011 or 2012 is ok with us.

any advice? any lease hunting programs out there? she doesn't want a large SUV like MDX (which is expensive!) but we have two small children.

she doesn't want an Acura....

If the choice wasn't limited to German cars, I'd recommend the 2012 Accord.....the current lease deal is $0 down $250/mo (12k/35 mos/LX sedan). You could probably work in an EX-L V6 w/Navi for $100 or so more per month.

youre going to have to extend the top end of your budget by another 25% to get into a small luxury suv. i.e. GLK, XC60, X3, SRX.

Your terms/budget will get you a polished, well optioned, mid-entry SUV, such as an RDX, Tiguan or Tucson. Or an optionless IS250 AWD, G37x, or C-Class.

If youre focused on germans, and want to hold to your price range, my best suggestion would be the new C250 sedan (not AWD though).

If AWD and german is a must, the closest thing would be a C300 4matic or A4 2.0 quattro - roughly $450-500/mo with 3k down, 36 months, 10k/year.
