National Corvette Museum
My parents were in town visiting so I took the day off and brought them and my son to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Lots of interesting racecars, prototypes and rare production vettes. The "Great 8", the ones that fell into the sink hole, were absolutely captivating. Kudos to the museum having lots of kid friendly stuff to keep the boy entertained. Enjoy.

Fantastic pictures, ST!
Just an update, the curators of NCM are considering leaving the Great 8 "as is". There is a strong possibility they'll leave the cars as you see them now.

Safety Car
Awesome pics. I'm unfamiliar with this place...do these cars still run and if they do they ever leave the building?

Thanks guys! One of the curators told my parents they were having a meeting that night to discuss what to do with the room and the cars. They also said something to the effect that attendance has gone up 200% since the accident so it would make sense if they kept things as-is since it's drawing more attention.

I read that traffic at the Museum was up 50%, but 200% is obviously better.

I took my boy back to the Corvette Museum last weekend. It was cool to see the sinkhole filled in and fixed, along with a few of the Great 8 now restored back to their former glory. It was also a special treat for me since they had a Grand Sport and ZR-1 exhibit going on, two of my favorite special models. Enjoy.
