my race with a POS chevy
I just picked up my girl from her college tonight(Sunday) to go out to dinner. there's 2 turn lanes to go left from this one light. I'm on the inside one. I'm sitting there talking with my girl. this older(mid 80's) it was either a Celebritiy or Corsica black rusty POS pulls up beside my Accord. I'm minding my own business. It has 3 girls in the POS Chevy. she rolls down her window(so old that it has the old fashion crank windows ) keep in mind only thing I got on my car is it's a 94 Accord EX with factory spoiler and complete Eclipse system. it was bumping lightly. she says "hey ricer boy why don't you run me." well normally I don't believe in street racing not only cause of the danger but this town has A TON of cops plus their @sses. she revs her engine(i thought i was gonna have to call a Tow truck. i hear REEEEEV CLUNK CLUNK KNOCK KNOCK. (I'm laughing) my girl laughing(because we race a 91 CRX si in SCCA Solo2 autocross plus she rebuilt her mom's minivan so she knows about cars). I rev back. grant it my car has a ton of miles(275,00 miles) but it still has that "V-TEC sound" to it.the girl says "whats so funny ricer boy. and she's laughing at me." Amy (my girl) looks over at me and says the famous Fast and Furious line "SMOKE EM." the light went green and I was GONE. matter of it was so bad at the next light she could have pulled up beside me but she just got behind me. I don't know if she was running a V-6 2.8( I Think) or a 4 banger . but it needed SERIOUS help. If I would have had the hatch I would have REALLY smoked her(well once i rebuild the motor because i blew the motor at the last Solo2 event )

almost thought you were going to make through a post without mentioning your accord having 275,000 miles on it.
But of course not, I should have known better

This story reminds me of some POS wantin to race. my friend was driving his dads 98 LS400 and this mid 80s cavalier wanted to race, so we were like why not. The light turned green and this ghetto ass cavalier had us by 2 carlengths, his motor was deffinatly not stock and his engine was screamin loud when he was flooring it. when he passed us, me and my friend were laughin so hard because this POS was beatin us, and it was totally unexpected.
