This site is turning into Honda-tech. Granted everyone has there own opinion, but this car is purpose built. It's a few steps away from being a full out time attack car. and the comments on this thread are in my opinion bred out of envy. Most users on this site couldn't come close to this type of execution in a build, let alone being able to handle it on the track. again jealousy breeds envy.
I appreciate the photos posted by Eric, and will continue to appreciate them. granted i'm also a 3g owner i can only look at so many of the same copycat builds on here with most users complaining about the cost of well researched, power proven, and well designed products on the market.. these pics show the individual personalities of their builders.
The amount of useless threads here lately is staggering. this is an automotive forum. a place to learn, share, and appreciate things automotive. Which unfortunately on here is moving towards less and less auto.
just my .02
so preach on Brother Badis, there are still enthusiasts that appreciate automotive works of art in both function and form. though i lean towards function and some prefer form, i can appreciate both.

Car Talk is turning into 3G. Granted everyone has their own opinion, but this car is purpose built. It's a few steps away from being a full out time attack car. That said, the comments in this thread are, in my opinion, born out of people having taste. And while not every user on this site could come close to this type of execution in a build, or even be able to handle it on the track, that doesn't mean they can't desire a tasteful appearance to accompany the performance improvements.

nice pictures, Eric! I was like...wtf, those are my wheels on the white TL! Tucking a little tire really sets those off!
I saw this car over on S2KI.com yesterday...definitely a little over the top for MY taste, but I can appreciate the quality parts and well orchestrated build. SOS is no joke with the forced induction on the S. That will likely be the route I eventually go, but my style will likely make David a little happier since I'm less radical.
Let's face it, it's the same flack you get for some of the things you've done to your OWN car...probably why the flaming is pissing you off so much.
I actually saw those wheels on the black market on s2ki from SOS directly...offered a pretty good discount too but I'm not ready to pull the trigger yet. I'm really enjoying how the S drives and looks as is right now.
and since this turned into a picture whore free for all

The one thread where an argument has lead to awesome results. Some of the cleanest car's I've seen. All I can say is OP has taste. The car isn't ugly, its purpose built. Easy to judge behind the keyboard. And considering OP has built his TL to such an insane extent with the same level of care there's no way you can question the workmanship. Think its ugly, then great... The fact is its doing its job and exceptionally well. Can't hate on that!

The fuck happened in here?!
I will tell you what the fuck happened in here.
I came into the thread last night to see what everyone had to say.
Sarlacc's comment struck a nerve. We have already have a pissing match before a while ago so I decided to say fuck it and let's have another one. lol
Also, I forgot to put my tampon in earlier in the day.
And I was really tired.

A lot of us have commented on the workmanship and level of detail it's just an acquired taste. Definitely radical and in some people's mind a bit too radical.
And my previous comments were certainly not meant to be taken seriously.

ACCURATEin- I think you are going about this thread all wrong. Not everyone is going to like everything they see. Some people are going to love this and others will hate it. This is life and you have to accept people will have different opinions. As long as people aren't making personal attacks, I don't see any problems with the negative comments on this car.

What is this pissing match?
You're a sensitive little flower who constantly gets butthurt at the first sign of a negative comment whether its aimed at you or not. And in usual fashion you threw your tantrum and started to burn down you're own thread.
I just sat here and laughed at you the whole time.
You are as delusional about some "made up pissing match" as you are everyone needing to love that ass-ugly car.

This was entirely a response to sarlacc. He probably doesn't really think it's ugly, but he made it clear that he does just to see if he could get me going. So I let him. I gave him what he wanted.

You are correct. This is not how you go about responding to folks that dislike.

Okay, maybe i was a little brash with the jealousy/envy comments. i think my last sentence
of my post is more suited for what i was trying top get across. as i think faster than i can get it down in words.
"though i lean towards function and some prefer form, i can appreciate both."

You post a lot here so you probably forgot about our pissing match. I forget what thread it was but it was closed. And you get into quite a few pissing matches here so it's probably just slipped your mind. Or you're bullshitting. It's one of the two.
I'm here to make people laugh. I've been laughing too.
I'm here to make people laugh. I've been laughing too.
I think I made a 3G crack...something MANY here do...and you cried about it. Getting all personally offended over it and decided to aim your offense at me...all the while others were making 3G cracks, too. How many years ago was that? I actually had to think about it for a minute to remember.
So, here we are again. I say the car is ugly...others say the car is ugly...but because I said it your vaginal cyst flared all up again and you threw a big tantrum, in your thread. Because you have some chip on your shoulder.
And now say you were "just having fun and trying to make people laugh"....at 3AM your time...when no one else was in the thread.
And please...keep calling this a pissing match...because, you know, you actually have to be able to pee standing up to have one.
