LOVE it!
I really want one for my twins.
I drove one through a autoX course a few weeks ago, so impressed how you don't feel the size.

on to the next one...
I really like the new Durango. It's got great street presence and if it's anything like my family's fist generation Durango, it will run forever without seeing the shop...

LOL....Thanks yes saw the DC parade Durango on fire hope its an isolated incident. Before deciding on the Durango I checked the other makes crossover/suv really leaning towards buying an import MDX, Highlander, Land Rover, BMW and Ford. Saw the Durango at an autoshow and got curious so it came down to choose between the MDX and the Durango, after a test drive of the Durango it sold me and 10k cheaper than the MDX....Dodge/Chrysler has done it right inside/outside tremendously improve their quality, fit and finish. Driving dynamics is very close to the imports well since it uses/shares the same underpinnings of the current Mercedes Benz suv. Verdict is still up as far as reliability don't know if it can equal my 2000 Honda Odyssey 11 years of being problem free although I see a lot of the 1st gen Durango still on the road.
To everyone thanks for the compliments. Will post photos of the interior soon...

They have been making some better looking vehicles, but the brand name still scares me.

I love the looks, inside and out, of the new Durango. It would definitely be on my list if I was looking for an SUV.
Surprisingly, Dodge is getting it together. Drove a Charger RT yesterday and was thoroughly impressed. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up for you.

What really impressed me with the Durango is the driving dynamics how it handles well, suspension set up is dialed in right imho soaks up the bumps and road imperfection real well, nice linear steering feel. Felt like you were driving European sport sedan, cabin insulation is outstanding, no wind or road noise!

I understand....I have been a loyal import brand for many years. I really wouldn't have come across the Durango if not for the autoshow then being curious went to a dealership just to check it out and do a test drive well my mind was made up then saying this suv probably sucks....to my amazement after the test drive and inspection it change my perception. I've watched some of the youtube videos of Chrysler/Dodge upper management promotional campaign on their product lines seems like they are sincere and the mindset to get this company back on its track to compete with the big boys! Also I've seen most of the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealerships showrooms and facilites are quite new and not your typical car dealership with just cramped cubicles/office spaces...wow they are geared for the customers - they have large lounges/seating areas nice facilities.

I think what they are putting out looks great, but I'd only do it if the dealer gave me a 6/100k warranty with them. My dad was burn by Plymouth back when I was a kid, I didn't didn't learn his lesson in '93. I know totally different car company now, but it still hurts. Though I can say that Dodge got me into Honda with a '93 Civic three months later at full sticker price. Was best thing that happen.
