I should have timed him. He had a new go pro in the car but he left his phone in the truck and it was tied to the phone with Bluetooth so once he left the camera cut off. It was a fail.
The racecar THR TL put down a 2:09 on the same track before.
Those are stickers he ordered from tirestickers.com

He told me his end goal is the topfuel voltex beast.
I will do everything I can to encourage progression with his build lol.
But I really don't have to do anything but show up to his house and it looks different everytime. haha

Imagine how much better he would perform on the track with the proper size wheels/tires...Stretched/poked doesn't belong on a track car (doesn't belong on ANY car IMO, but each their own), you're effectively ruining the true handling capabilities of the car. My

His stretch isn't too bad. The wheel should be wider than the tire. Props to him for taking it to the track in the first place. There are a lot of people with similarly built cars who do it just for show, which is a real shame.

Looks like a lot of time, money, and effort went into that car and its very well executed. And I personally hate it! Like I said, this is a very well done overall job of modding (in no way cheezy or ricey) but I really don't personally like anything about it. To me the S2000 is almost perfect bone stock and this is just a total eyesore. But that's just my personal opinion. In no way am I trolling, just giving my honest thoughts. I bet the handling is pretty epic though...

I used to think it was perfect stock...
Then I drove one with better suspension...
Then I drove one with a tune...
Then I got them both for my car and no longer think it is better stock

To be sure modding creates a better driving car but I guess in my older age I'm starting to prefer the clean look and unmolested feeling of stock. The only mods I'd ever consider these days are tint and a possible wheel upgrade (which may or may not require a subtle drop depending on the car/wheel)...

Got to see the car in action again at Road Atlanta over the weekend. Jeremy had a track event and asked if I wanted to come watch. Enjoy the photos.

Thanks guys. Glad you enjoyed the photos.
Tyler... in all of these years of trolling the internet, have you not learned that one sticker is good for 5 horsepowers?!

lol I just took one sticker off my windshield. Hopefully the loss in hp won't be noticeable.
