Yeah my car got swiped in school parking lot.

Luckily, there seems to be no dents,

Since I park my car backward, and walk to the rear to go to class, I did not see the damage until I got home, about half an hour later. I am about to contact school parking office, but I don't think they will do jack as always.

There is no info or anything, so apparently it's hit and run. hopefully I will be able to find a witness and track that son of a bitch down.

Has anyone had anything like this happen to them? please I need your advice

Something like this happen to me when I went to an O's baseball game about 8 years ago. I didn't notice it until the next morning. I have to drive back to Baltimore (1 1/2 drive) to file a police report in the same parking lot.

They got me on the same bumper and it went to the front of the fender. I was wondering why my alarm was in reset mode after the game, but I didn't see anything.

See if they have any security cameras in the parking lot. Maybe it caught something.

That sucks. But from your thread title, I thought your car got stolen, so it could have been worse.

As you said, you should still check with campus authorities in case someone did witness it and left some info. I saw someone back their minivan into a truck at the SD Zoo and left my info with security and on the truck. Actually waited around for a bit until the truck owner came out.

Similar thing happened to me at discount long-term parking at the Philly airport. Came back from a 3 or 4 day trip and found out that someone had backed out of the spot next to me and let their side view mirror run down the length of my right rear quarterpanel, leaving a ridge and lots of rub-off.

Lot wouldn't do anything. Ended up having to file a local police report (hassle, but little to no questions asked) and it went through my uninsured motorists coverage so no deductible to pay.

Yeah, I had something like that, but not that bad. It happened just last year. I was going to get the bumper repainted, but had some other chips and scratches, plus there was a small crack at the bottom, so I just got a new bumper. All I could tell was that it was a red car that hit me in the parking lot because there was red paint left on my bumper. Man I was livid. Unless they have a camera that caught the asshole, or if there was a witness, you'll never know who did it and will have to pay to have to repaired yourself.

I got hit at the grocery store. I just had to run in, so I parked really close. This grocery store is like a mecca for old people, so as I saw granny and gramps cruising in their Lincolns x 1000, I went back and moved my car further away. The older folk get nasty about the close parking spots. I come back, and I had gotten swiped! It wasn't bad at all, just a little scuffing.

Unfortunately shit like that happens. I had my car get a dent in at when I left it my high school's parking lot for like 10 hours. Ive seen a dumb girl drive her acura into a pole trying to park. Some people are just dumasses just check with campus security they might be able to help.

Checked with school police department, the OFFICER said that I can pick up the police report in 4 days. And of course NO CAMERA!!!!

Green arrow is how I get out of my car and go to, and come back from class. So I couldn't see what has happened until I got home

The red circle is the portion where the paint has been scraped
from my deductible reasoning there are probably two possible angles that the idiotic driver approached my car, either pink or purple, but as you can see in order for that to happen, the driver must be either extremely stupid or drunk ( or high)

I thought that was the one of the safest parrking space, since the entire 6 or 7 lots are much secluded from driving by traffic.
