My '99 Accord v6

Well this is the first import I ever owned, 95 integra gsr that I built.
[IMG][/IMG]

well its been almost 2years since i sold the integra, until recently when i got my first 1999 Accord Ex v6, although I would love to have an 01, but i got one hell of a deal on this car and i love the color. Here's some recent pics that i have of it the way it looks, minus the projector housings because i have brand new oem black housings for it now.

Than after owning the car a year i wrecked it. I wrecked the car trying to avoid a lady hitting me and ended up hitting a curb, well the damage it did was destroying the core support, bending the subframe, and pushing everything 2 inchs back towards the firewall thus bending the frame rail.

[IMG][/IMG]

On the trailer ready to go on the frame stretcher

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Back from the frame stretcher with the frame rail straightened, core support welded on and the new subframe.

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Ready to paint all one color so it looks better

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Painted

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

New lights

[IMG][/IMG]

Now what looks like currently with the new lights, lip, and the brand new Function & Form type1's on it.

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Next now that I have the suspension, I gotta put the camber kit on, new 225/45/17's, on it since the 205's are shot and get an alignement done. Also I did the HID reverse light conversion to recentally

Well I've owned the car almost 2 year's now and was to lazy to do some detail work on the car. And also prevouis owner's never took care of it body wise. So therefore the roof and trunk were oxidized so bad that it looked like there was no clear. So me and my bro decided to wet sand the hole entire car to try and get down beneath the oxidation.

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Than we started buffing

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

After it was all buffed, I polished it all.

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Finally after 2 years I can see myself in the car lol

[IMG][/IMG]

Finally waxed

[IMG][/IMG]

And after along hard day of polishing and waxing, and putting the car back together. It's finished. Too bad it was't day light still to get some good shiny pic's.

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Hopefully if we get some sunshine before it gets dirty I'll get some daylight picks. I definitely love the color now that it pop's. I know there"s a few that has saw the before and how bad the paint was, the pic's don't do justice. But also it's orginal paint, its still not perfect, theres chip's, scratch's, and ding's, and some clear peeling on the front bumper, but i'll get that fixed one day. I'm just stoked that it's shiny for once, better than it was when i got it, and that i saved the roof and trunk instead of vynil wrapping it ;ike I had planned since day one. Well worth the time to do it, although i'm sore now for doing it 2 day's straight. lol

But, Thank you to my brother for talking me into doing it and hekping me. lol Because I would'nt have done it, since I didn't wanna take the time after doing my integra when I had it, Because i hated it. lol

This was the setup I had after a few months of wrecking the car. Has 17x8.5 +30 Polished Stern ST's on it with 235/45/17's. Fenders have been rolled and pulled. Than recently bolted up the full cat back from a 03 CL-S. Than I just received my double din in the mail, so thats getting installed the same time the windows get tinted next week.

Than the most recent thing I've done is swap a set of 03 CL-S front and rear seats all in the car and all hooked up and working. The heated seats dont work right now, bc I still have some more parts to get still to wire them up, but as of right now the power seats all work and are very comfortable.

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

And this is what the car looks like currently

[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]

Also just recently I put on 03 CL-S exhaust on the car to. And just bought a 96 Acura RL that i'm starting to do things to and fix.

The newest set of wheels are the best ones yet Plus that's a gorgeous color.

Paint the front lip, lose the stickers, and lose the front bra and it'll be much cleaner IMO

Nice resurrection. I love the color.

Looks like you and OakTre/Stickers/CLassy/GheyTyler would probably get along

BTW, those seats are from a base CL, not a Type S.

I had a chance to buy the sedan in this same color with 50k miles. Looks better on the coupe.

Funny thing is, I thing it would look better with the 01-03 Type S wheels.

I like the work done on this 6G. Good job Black95!

The fat five spokes right? Not the ugly split-spoke things us 6 speeders got saddled with?

My first thought going through the first few pics was "That paint really needs some TLC". But you sure took care of that! Awesome job on the paint work.

Thanks everyone. The 06 TL wheels are gone, I got a set of 07-08 split spoke TL wheels for winters, but now there on the 96 RL I bought, because i bought a set of 8thgen Accord v6 coupe wheels, the 18x8 10 spoke for winter wheels.

And yes now that I have the RL and that will be the DD, the accord is going to get a J32 6speed in it when a little more fund are available.

Nice job with that car! Nice and clean now. The stickers are not my taste, but otherwise you really saved that AV6. Big

fukin killer accord you have there. fixed up one of these for my girl once. looks so proper with the tl wheels. i sometimes wish honda made that style available in 18 or even 19 inch.

dude, rl's are my current specialty. bought one 96 in 05.
bought another 96 in 08. havent had to buy another car since. they are both worth every dollar i paid for them.

after that accord, cant wait to see what you might have planned for the rl, its not the easiest car to mod but, i never let that stop me.
