That looks absolutely beautiful. Now I really feel like I'm neglecting my car with how many swirls I have.

Thanks a lot guys... yeah I love the paint color. I love its purple hues... The front end is one of my favorite views of the car.

I forgot this shot from above. Shows the color more too.

I'm in love with Kona, and your paint detailing and your photo skills and your coyote motor, and your gorgeous house.

Well, I guess you can say I think you're pretty cool. Very nice work!

Thanks sir. You will need to clay the entire car, then buff the entire car with a high quality DA/rotary buffer, then apply high quality glaze, sealant, and Nuba wax.

Finally! Someone else who loves mustangs! I just came to this forum about 5 days ago from some mustang forums ( corral, moddedmustangs). I had a total of 8 mustangs but they were all 99-04 2v stangs, nothing this nice! But I had to sell my last one to pay for school and I bought a 6 speed accord for something to free up a little cash. But your car is beautiful. By far my favorite Kona ever! That shot you posted a couple above me looks incredible! You have some crazy detailing skills I must say. I'm sub'ing this thread to see what you do next!

The Kona is looking amazing btw. Reminds me a lot if my Deep Water Blue Pearl, but Kona seems a little darker overall.

Do you have a list of all the mods you've done so far? Super clean car dude

I think a GHIG '13-'14 with track pack is on the list for next year.

Since the forecast is now creeping into the 40's, I got up early this morning to get this task done. I don't care if I can't drive her on the road yet. This has been the worst winter I can remember. COME ON SPRING!!!

I got Marilyn's new shoes mounted. It was a breeze. I only ran into 2 issues: the rear 305's I had to deflate and inflate 2x, since the first time the TPMS did not "wake up". The other issue was self-inflicted (duhhh!!!)… I mounted the directional Nitto's on the opposite side of the car (right should have been left and vice versa). So I had to jack her up and transpose and re-marry.

I removed the valve core's via my handy 3 dollar tool from the auto store. Only took a minute or 2 to fully empty. I had to then wait 15 minutes before inflating to let the TPMS sensor reset. After inflating, the TPMS re-marrying procedure was actually a synch. I worried too much about nothing. It recognized the new sensors right away.

Also, I remembered to remove the factory retaining clips, to allow for the new wheels to sit flush against the hub face. I also used the hub centric rings I ordered to ensure the wheel was centered before tightening the lug nuts.

Here's some pics of the install and the final product, along with a walk-around video to show the wheels, and my new VLED Triton Amber Switchbacks I installed a month ago. I love my new Milans… amazing what wheels do to the look of a car. Sadly, I can't drive her yet, since the roads are still crap. Perhaps in a couple… Enjoy the pics. Pardon the dirty dusty car. She's been sitting in the garage for 4 months. Also, the very last pic, I took to show how wide these babies are, viewed from the rear. I've never had 305 wide tires before. I'm looking forward to burning some rubber :stirpot:

Question for you experts out there: Do I need to do an alignment because of the new wheels/tires? I would think not, since it's been aligned perfectly before this, and I'm not changing the ride height (i.e. springs, etc). My rear tire widths are the only thing's different (305 vs 255 stock).

The new wheels look good. Nice work.

I couldn't agree more. This never ending winter sucks. I'm tired of washing salt off my car.

That looks nice. I love how beefy the rear is, the unfortunate side effect is it makes the front look a little wimpy. I would have perhaps split the difference between the two and gone with a square setup.

I'd get an alignment after upgrading to a tire size that large just for safe keeping, plus if you haven't had one in a while it may be a good idea to get one anyway. It would be more necessary to get one if the ride height changed.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah I might take it to my trusted shop once I activate her and drive her on the road in a few weeks.

As for the square setup, I purposely wanted staggered... So I could beef up the rear accordingly. Also, fronts are 255 nt555r's... And rears are 305 nt555 dr drag radials.

LOL I read the first sentence while seeing a picture of a wheel below and couldn't figure out why you would put wheels on (or do any mod) if the temperature was dropping. Then I realized you meant it was getting warmer . "Creeping into the 40s" defining getting warmer =

I like the new wheels. The back sticks out a little too much for me, but overall I like it .

Looks fantastic but gotta agree, rear sticks out a tiny bit too much. Incredible car tho!

Edit - you have any pics looking from the front back toward the rear tire? Maybe the one pic just makes them look like they stick out
