My 2017 Chevy Colorado diesel

Hey AZ, wanted to share my new whip. Got my truck in march and so far so good. It's got a 2.8L turbo diesel 4x4 crew cab long box. Have used it a few times towing around 4000lbs and once towing 6000. Averaged around 20mpg while towing, and 30 when not (highway). Can't do better than 20mpg in the city (boost). The mylink system is ok, it glitches every now and then, like lowering the volume when I connect USB or disconnect.. techwise, it's got wifi backup cam and lane departure. Mods after warranty expires.. j

And yes I do use it to work Uber and Lyft over the weekends sometimes lol..

Take off the wind deflector next time you go off road!

Nice pick up (heh). It doesn't get as much love as the Tacoma which isn't fair because they're actually very competitive with each other.

Nice truck, my coworker has the LFX V6 2wd, not a bad drive. Tough call between this & the Taco, both have some features that the other doesn't.

That said, the ZR2 is

Resale value on the Taco is better, but, I'm guessing the Colorado is cheaper.

It's a decent driving truck, my boss has a gasoline one. He gets 19-23 mpg in normal driving. I had hauled a load of wood and it worked like a champ.

i agree, the aftermarket is huge.. tacos dominates the segment and the deflectors coming off soon.

not really, two credit unions and one other dealership denied me approval for a loan, so I took what I could. Thinking about refinancing down the line.

i like the way tacos look too, so it was a tough call but ive got a lot of towing in my future so diesel it is. Off-road I'm sure I could keep up with a stock non-pro 4x4 taco. I agree the Zr2 is badass.

I paid 42k otd, but I got the extended warranty, the diesel option is 4k over the same v6. I'm hoping with the diesel it holds better value, but I plan on keeping it for life lol
