Nice upgrade on the wheel. I couldn't get rid of mine fast enough.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who couldn't stand the stock steering wheel.

When it rains it pours...first the steering wheel came last night, now I just picked this up:

It's a set of KW v3 coilovers, arguably the most popular suspension setup in the NSX community. The 4x4 look will soon be a thing of the past

Good car.....decent upgrade. I would rather drive a Infiniti G 37 Coupe though.

I'm not sure but I am pretty positive that a G37 Coupe(Q60) is faster in a straight line than the NSX.

Also when people see you driving a G37 coupe.. it's like 'wow what an amazing car, looks like a space ship'

when people see you driving an NSX.. it's like 'ok another corvette'.

But overall a good car, I hope you enjoy it man.

Everything I said or posted are all opinions.

This is trolling:
'Acura is coming out with a 2 door coupe at 1000 HP in 2016, inside info from my friend's Dad.'
Than you submit a 10 page false report. That's trolling.

'G37 looks better than NSX'
That's opinion.

So does that completely hide people's posts then?

I wonder if I can see if I am on ignore lists

The problem is that your post came out of nowhere.

There is not a single mention of the G37 anywhere in this topic, and you decide to come in here and say "Good car.....decent upgrade. I would rather drive a Infiniti G 37 Coupe though". Why? Why would you say something like that?

The OP stated the NSX is his dream car.

Get real, troll. No one cares about what you would rather drive. Your posts are so idiotic, you have earned yourself a spot on the ignore list.

Where the user's posts would be, you see this instead:

This message is hidden because Tommy8888 is on your ignore list.
But if others quote the post, you still see it.

Guys, ease up. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Tommy, a G37 coupe is not faster than an NSX. For comparison:

Infinity G37S coupe
0-60 = 5.4s
1/4m = 13.8s

Acura NSX
0-60 = 4.7s
1/4m = 13.1s

Times were taken from zeroto60times.com

As far as appearance, the only people who would mistake an NSX for a Corvette are ignorant people who don't know anything about cars. Same goes for people who think it's a Ferrari (of which there are plenty), but more importantly I'm not really interested in what other people think about my car. Personally, I buy cars because I like to drive.

To that point, I've driven a 6MT G37 coupe on many occasions (test drives and friend owns one) and personally, I didn't like it at all. The interior/exterior is decent, but I've never liked the VQ engines - they sound thrashed and unrefined @ WOT and I can't stand the whiny exhaust note. Also, the vibration I felt through shifter was unbearable and contributed to that unrefined driving sensation.

Conversely, the NSX has an incredible shifter and arguably one of the smoothest and best sounding V6 ever made. It is also relatively light (3,000-3,100lbs) compared to modern day sports cars and has a better layout (mid-engine, rear drive) so its exceptionally tossable.

Again, if all you prioritize looks over performance that's your prerogative. But I would suggest you drive an NSX before assuming anything. It might surprise you.

OP: Great pickup. I wish I could have a car like that (not enough garage room).

Definitely keeping it yellow. I usually don't like such a loud color as yellow, but I think a sports car like the NSX can pull it off.

I was originally looking for a Berlina Black, but then started thinking that the darker colors hid the gorgeous, classic lines of the car.

My dream combo is a '02-'05 NA2 in Grand Prix White or Imola Orange. However, both colors are extremely rare and out of my price range (market price is around $65k).

If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay?

As much as I love my S2000 I'm always tempted to grab an NSX or have both

Girlfriend bought me a Nikon D5300 for my birthday so I went out and took a few more pics today.

Also figured I'd get a few more up before she goes under the knife - dropping her off at Excelerate's shop to have Phase 1 complete.

I really have no idea what I'm doing with a camera (using the Auto setting only), but I'll learn eventually.

Unrelated question - I've been taking pics in RAW format (.NEF) but it doesn't look like I can upload them to PhotoBucket? Can anyone help?

If you shoot in RAW you need a photo editing program like Photoshop or Lightroom to convert them to JPEG format for uploading. Unless you're doing photo editing there's no benefit of shooting in RAW.

Oh and of course the NSX is looking killer! It'll be so much nicer with the drop!

Well after buying a house last year and getting married this year, my disposable income isn't what it once was. Also, parts are MUCH more expensive for this car than the TSX.

But I promise you, I'll get this build to at least the same level - it just might take a little longer .

Thanks for the heads up, I was wondering why the .NEF files looked fantastic on my rMBP but crappy and pixelated on PhotoBucket - probably because the pics are being compressed when uploaded?

And I agree. Can't wait to make her lower, louder, and stiffer .

NSX Dream car @ 32yrs old?? Congrats. that's amazing.

And did I read a couple of your posts correctly? You got married this year, but your "girlfriend" bought you the new Nikon? You really ARE living the dream.

Ha, I'm getting married later this year. I never liked the word "fiance" so I still call her my girlfriend.

Picked her up after Phase 1 of mods. There are still a few things that have to be installed (mostly additional chassis bracing), but I just couldn't wait any longer. Missing the best weekends of the year to drive was too hard

Sorry for the dark pics...took them right after a wash around sunset.
