hey another accountant with a TL. congrats with the job. Parking in the city sucks. I drive to work in the city from brooklyn, but I work late nights and downtown. So I can park in the streets, but then again I usually drive my other car so I dont get and dings. parking in a lot will range 300-400 a month, might want to try it for a month or two to see if you like it. The idea of selling the car might be hard, depends on your life style if you will be in the city all the time I would sell it. The money you will get for it and the money saved from not parking in a lot and insurance will be a nice chunk of change like someone mentioned before. Also there is too many cabs around you there and also MTA.
Also parking lots towards the water tend to be cheaper.
Good luck.

Which one of the big 4? deloite? Are you doing your CPA thing or are you in other departments. Because the big 4 firms still do transactional services and valuations, somewhat similar to ibanking, but a far cry from goldman sachs

Sorry to pop your bubble, dont sell the car you need to escape far away in a nice car on weekends trust me on this.
