i just got a 2002 escalade(not ext or esv) but it is a very nice car. im sure the 2005 is even nicer, and the ext is obviously nice also. id say go for it, you wont be dissapointed

depriciation is HORRIBLE why buy new? Find a slighlty used one and save serious dough? There aren't any changes in the '05MY are there?

make sure she leases it, or doesn't plan to keep it. We all know how reliable GM cars are after a few years

Run, run as fast and far as you can.

My dad has an '04 XL Denali, basically the same as the Escalade EXT and ESV.

Sooooo many mechanical and electrical problems, it's not even funny. First it was the suspension, then navigation unit, then radio, rattles here and there, transmission, and now it's HVAC.

That pile of shit, while pretty damn nice when working right, is such a pain in the ass. And if you think Acura dealerships suck, don't even bother THINKING of buying GMC or Cadillac because their dealerships suck horribly through and through. I used to be a big GM fan, but now I've turned into a big GM hater. Fuck their poor quality and endless problems.

I thought I heard somewhere on these forums that Cadillac service is right up there as AWESOME?
