mobil 1 m104 for a 05 odyessey.
i tried to get some answers from the oddy sites but they seem like they are all cluesless people there, so i am trying to see if any of you guys know?
i have a 2005 honda odyessey touring and was wondering if the mobil 1 m104 is ok to use?

M1-104 is fine, its the oversized filter for this application. M1-110 is the correct one. I'd stick with the M1-110 however, as its the recommended filter for this application and would save you hassle in the event of a warranty claim with either Honda or Champ Labs, as you may experience difficulty in having Champ Labs warranty their filter in the event of a failure, as you weren't using the recommended size.
Remember, bigger is not necessairly better. Think of the FRAM PH8A sized filters for a domestic application, and its drain interval. 3000 miles? Now go back and think of the size of a PH7317 filter, which is 1/2 or 2/3 the size of the PH8A, and has a 3x longer drain interval. Obviously, as the filters became smaller, our drain intervals actually increased and not decrease. This is due to improvements in the filter media; improvements in capacity, and fine-tuning of the pore size.
So stick with the M1-110, but the M1-104 is fine.
