I don't think he wants to spend that much money. He told me that he was looking at used(03+)A4s and I advised him to get the 1.8T because of the ease of modding. The hard part is finding a manual in the area.

I did a search for the Chicago Zip Code 60601 (if he lives near you) and found plenty of manual A4's

He should keep his M3.

My a4 should run mid 14s with a good launch and thats pretty much maxing out the stock turbo.

He could do the K04 turbo with my mods and hit around 13.8-14.2

Or the GTRS kit and hit high 12s to low 13s depending on what octane.

Found out i had the wrong piping for the intercooler and that why fitment was poor and slanted

^^^ did the piping come with the IC as a kit? or did you have to purchase them seperately?

As a kit. They sent me the intercooler thats for the bigger turbo (GTRS) that i was planning on getting.

thats awesome jesal. cant wait to see some dyno numbers. check out some of the local forums... they usually do dyno days and its pretty cheap to dyno the car. i've gotten 3 runs for $30 one time and another time for $60.
