M3 trunk lip = M5 tunk lip???

Just wondering if these are the same. I see lots of places on Ebay that make them sound interchangeable.....I'm going to put one on my 6sp.

i thought the M5 lip is bigger as in lengthwise, and that it fits our car better

M5 lip spoiler is ~47 inches long and fits very well. The M3 is ~46 inches and does not fit as well...
