Low Ego Emissions
Please tell me you guys have seen the new Passat commercial.
Basically drivers of different cars are shouting with bullhorns out the window different phrases depending on what car they are driving:
Blond in a Lexus: If I drive this car guys will notice me and Ill love myself
Guy in a 300c with huge rims: I make more money than you
Guy in a yellow viper: I drive this to make up for my inadequacies
If someone could find it, its

The ad kinda pissed me off. Its presumptious to assume that buying a Viper or BMW, or whatever the hell was in that commercial is a way of saying that "I make more money than you" or that "I'm compensating for my shortcomings". Their better cars and their different cars. Comparing a Viper and a Passat....?

I've seen part 1 and part 2. Part 1 is with the loud speaker out every car drivers window complaining about their reasons for having their car, which imo is pretty lame considering VW mentions specifically the passat has lowest ego emmissions among any GERMAN CAR, yet they list up 300c, viper, etc in their commercial where they should have an Audi, BMW, and Benz.
Part 2 consist of a tough guy in a truck at a redlight, a passat wagon behind and an Escalade 3rd. Passat beeps, big dude in truck gets out walking past passat to tinted up Escalade while passat pulls away. Pretty funny without the bs of the first commercial which I found annoying cause it was like a car salesman, naming reasons why not to buy the other car...

with this^^.Besides, it was only a few years ago that VW advertised the Passat with the tagline "it only looks expensive." In other words you bought the car because you wanted people to think you have $$.

And unfortunately, its a safe car, meaning they will live to do it again, possibly kill innocent people and perhaps reproduce..
