List of every 200-MPH car in history
Interesting list.
All The Cars That Go 200 MPH
Except for 3-4 cars I've never heard of (Bristol made a car that could go 225MPH???), I knew most of them.

Based on that one pic, the body design looks like a blatant rip-off of an early Lamborghini Diablo.

there were over 100 calaway Twin Turbo Vettes that offered the same aero as an option from the dealer.. but not beefed up as much..
says the production version still reached 187mph... still very impressive for nearly half the HP. and further in 1988/89

The Cizeta was what the Gandini originally designed the Diablo as before Chrysler stepped in.

996 TT X50- 191mph
You'd need a good hill or a strong tailwind. The big advantage of a x50 wasn't the higher top speed or higher peak Hp, it was that you had more hp available over a wider rpm range.

Great list. Heard of all of them except the Weber. I was aware of the Bristol, but not that it was a 200+mph car. I first saw the Cizeta in Gran Turismo, but it prompted a Google search or 2 to find out more about it. They seem to get a lot of those specialty carmakers on Top Gear.
