Why pay for a luxury car that look exactly like it's little brother? At least Acura masks their luxury cars a little bit. Sure, you can still tell that Acura's are Honda's, I just don't think it is as noticeable as a slap in the face. The TL, RL and RSX are in a class of their own I believe, I don't really think I can look at Honda and say, "Wow, looks like just like an Acura XXX". With the exception that the TSX does resemble the Accord quite a bit, and the MDX and Pilot too.

I agree with you when you say lexus and toyota have a very similar resemblance..even more so than honda/acura

My grandmother just ended her ES330 lease and got a GS300.. a much more "sportier" car

My mom decided to buy the ES330.. ick.. i've driven it before, it's really a very bland car compared to the TL

I don't know if the ES and IS have the same steering wheel, but the one in the IS is the best I've ever handled. I wouldn't care if it had 10 spokes, but it just feels great in the hands. The 3 spokes does give it a good look though.

A tight turning radius is probably the best thing I like about a RWD car. I can't imagine that the ES is much different than the TL though with its FWD and relatively large engine. The IS however turns on a dime, and that is a nice thing about that car.
