Just test drove a 2000 Subaru Outback
It's for my girlfriend. Sucked. It had 89K miles and felt like it had been rode hard and put away wet. They wanted blue book for it- $12000- not even worth it. I would pay 9K tops for that car. The driver's window button didn't work half the time, there was NO power, brakes were spongy too. It also pulled to the right.
NO THANKS.
NO THANKS.

my parents used to have one of those.
I think it was the most solid, best handling wagon I have ever driven. I used to take that thing out in a foot of snow before they plowed and I could rip around like a madman. We had a grand cherokee and a volvo cross country too...and the outback owned both of them in the winter.
maybe they don't age well, or maybe that one was just beat on. try a couple more, because those are nice cars.
